CIT gives students chance to meet employers and secure tourism and hospitality industry positions

It gives employers the opportunity to speak to graduating students and those entering the jobs market and also helps employers looking to fill part-time roles and summer work opportunities.

Now in it's fourth year many businesses have filled positions as a direct result of their engagement with students at the event.

Adrian Gregan, Head of CIT’s Tourism and Hospitality department, said “The annual event is an ideal opportunity for employers to meet with our students and in the past three years many have been able to fill vacant positions in the expanding tourism and hospitality industry as a result of this initiative”.

As well as employers meeting students, the event is followed by a luncheon for the industry representatives, which is prepared and served by the students so that they can showcase their skills to potential future employers.

The event takes place on 3 March at CIT’s Bishopstown Campus.
