Accountancy giant PwC plans to hire more than 500 new employees at its Irish operations during 2016.

Launching its campaign to attract Irish talent home from working abroad, the leading professional services firm said yesterday that the new positions will be filled by a mix of graduates and professionally qualified candidates, the latter filling “well over” 200 of the roles.

“We have ambitious growth plans for 2016 and beyond,” said Ireland managing partner Feargal O’Rourke.
