Family-owned hotel group Griffin Group returns to profit

One of the best known family-owned hotel groups, the Griffin Group last year returned to profitability with pre-tax profits of €1.7m.

The group operates a number of hotels in the South-East, including the award-winning Monart Spa Resort along with Hotel Kilkenny and the Ferrycarraig Hotel in Co Wexford.

Profits resulted after revenues rose 10% from €16.69m to €18.45m.
