Pure Telecom to create 30 jobs in Munster expansion

Pure Telecom, the Irish-owned fixed-line, broadband and cloud telecom services provider, is to add 30 jobs over the next 18 months, as part of its expansion across Munster.

It is recruiting for the sales positions across the province. This is on the back of a €2m investment announced earlier this year.

“The need to fill these positions demonstrates the strong demand for our services in the region,” said Pure Telecom director Alan McGonnell.

“Pure Telecom is providing services that match what people want from their telecoms system.

“We’re looking to recruit people who share our values, and dedication to providing the highest quality in customer service, that’s what it’s all about for us.

"They will be tasked with signing up new customers to our services, including our recently announced Purely Broadband, which allows customers to access high-speed fibre broadband with no landline charges and no download limits.”

Pure Telecom has signed a €20m partnership with Eircom Wholesale.

This gives Pure Telecom customers access to Eircom’s growing high-speed fibre network, which is set to reach 1.9m premises across Ireland by 2020.

The company also has access to other networks including Verizon, BT and Magnet.

The new hires will work from sales agency DSM’s Tipperary base. DSM’s chief executive lauded Pure Telecom for establishing itself in a dramatically changed telecoms industry.
