Skeff’s pre-tax profits reduce 40% to €800,000

Pre-tax profits at the Skeffington Arms Hotel in Galway last year fell 40% to €801,698.

Accounts filed by the Skeffington Arms Ltd show that the business recorded the drop in pre-tax profits as its gross profit increased 8% from €4.2m to €4.54m.

According to the directors’ report “the results for the year and the financial position at the year end were considered satisfactory by the directors who expect growth in the foreseeable future”.
