Amneal Pharmaceuticals to create 300 Cashel positions in strong month for regions

A US generic drugs manufacturer is to create up to 300 jobs on the site of the former Johnson & Johnson site in Cashel, Co Tipperary, capping what has been a good month for regional jobs announcements.

New Jersey-based Amneal Pharmaceuticals has purchased the 60,000 sq m site from which it intends to launch its European expansion.

Amneal expects to hire between 250 and 300 employees once fully operational.
