Next Sunday’s referendum in Greece — that could well decide their future in the euro — will be the first in the country in over four decades, but exactly what will be put to the electorate is still an open question.

While Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis insists it is not a vote on whether they remain in the eurozone, others believe it may give them a holiday from the common currency.

The government announced that the voters will be simply asked whether they agree with the draft document or not — which assumes the electorate has studied it.
