Amy Huberman sees her firm turn a €100k profit in first year of operation
The first set of accounts for Ms Huberman’s company, ASM Entertainment Ltd show that the firm recorded pre-tax profits of almost €100,000 in its first year in operation.
According to filings just lodged with the Companies Office, pre-tax profits at ASM Entertainment in the 14 months to the end of August last totalled €95,123.
The accounts show that after a corporation tax bill of €11,890, the firm’s post tax profits totalled €83,224.
Ms Huberman set up the company in late May 2013 to capitalise on her increased earning power and at the end of August last, the firm had a cash pile of €99,757.
One half of Ireland’s best known couple — through her marriage to Ireland rugby legend, Brian O’Driscoll — Ms Huberman owns 100% of the firm while her father, Harold sits on the board of the company.
The accounts show that the company achieved the profit after paying its directors a total of €100,605 last year.
According to documents lodged, some of the objectives of Ms Huberman’s firm are to carry on business in the areas of media, acting and the arts and to also act as representative for companies both domestic and internationally.
Companies Office documents show that the combined profits of the main firms owned by Ms Huberman and her husband total €3.62m.
