The boutique Dawson hotel in Dublin city centre is being put up for sale with a €15m guide price and is likely to attract considerable attention given its prominent location.

Receiver Declan McDonald of pricewaterhouseCooper has appointed Savills Ireland and Morrissey’s to handle the sale, with bids expected by the middle of next month.

The Dawson is located at 35-36 Dawson Street in Dublin city centre and comprises two interconnecting period buildings that incorporate Sams Bar, the circa 200-seater Dawson Brasserie (formerly La Stampa, which has been closed since last December), a vacant restaurant premises in the basement (formerly Faat Baat), and the 36-room hotel and spa.
