Irish flooring company on course to grow sales by 19%
The sales growth will largely be driven by the 100- year-old company â which operates seven stores around Dublin, Louth, and Meath ârecently securing a lucrative carpet and rug concession at iconic Dublin department store Arnotts.
The retailer â which employs almost 50 people â secured the concession earlier this year and has seen an immediate increase in its revenue. The Arnotts design showroom adds to the seven operating TC Matthews stores in Ireland, located in City Quay, Stillorgan, Walkinstown, Lucan, Navan, Dunleer, and Drogheda.
Company owner Brendan Cumiskey said management was delighted to have secured the carpet concession at Arnotts and is pleased with the results.
âTC Matthews only works with tried-and-trusted suppliers within the global market, which is why we remain the longest and largest independent Irish-owned flooring company in Ireland,â he said. âWe expect the industryâs global market to continue to grow and we will continue to grow with it with the help of our loyal customers. We aim to continue to satisfy consumers at our new design showroom, along with our other seven stores.â
The move brings together two of Irelandâs largest and longest-established companies, with Arnotts being the oldest and largest department store in Dublin, and is currently in its 172nd year.
