The company — which provides software tools enabling companies to improve their billing systems and personalise bills to clients — currently employs around 60 people in Dublin and has a sales presence in San Francisco.

It is looking to hire a mix of specialised talent across all areas of the business.

However, its immediate requirement is for software developers, system architects and project managers. Of the 100 positions, it is envisaged that around 75 will be based here, with the remainder in the US. The new recruits will come on board over the next two years, with half due this year.

Brite:Bill, which is supported by Enterprise Ireland on this expansion, is expanding on the back of winning two major multi-million dollar contracts in North America.

The contracts, believed to be with two leading mobile operators, will be announced in March.

“The past year has exceeded all of our expectations and I am so proud of the company’s success,” commented chief executive Alan Coleman yesterday.

“These are important new roles and the people who come on board in these jobs will be key in supporting our rapid growth and will help us build and scale the company,” he added.

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said Brite:Bill is “a great example” of the type of business the Government is trying to support via its overseas activities.
