Beyonce’s cool €1m a night boosts coffers at 3Arena

Pop megastar Beyonce generated a cool €1m a night in box office receipts during her four-gig stint at the 3Arena in Dublin last year.

New figures released by music industry trade journal Pollstar show that Beyonce’s four concerts in March last year made €4m.

The runaway success of the Beyonce gigs was a major triumph for her Irish promoters, Aiken Promotions, whose 2014 was soured by the Garth Brooks Croke Park debacle.
