New accounts filed by the Monaghan man’s firm, Tommy Bowe Sports Ltd, with Companies House in the UK show accumulated profits increased from £243,498 to £274,992 (from €310,211 to €350,375) in the 12 months to the end of March this year.

The firm’s cash pile last year increased from £57,755 to £86,101.

The 30-year-old has recently regained his place in the all-conquering national side after a long time plagued with injury. He scored vital tries against both South Africa and Australia in the autumn internationals.

Bowe recently secured his professional future by signing a three-year contract with the IRFU and Ulster that will run to June 2018.

Commenting on the new contract last month, Bowe said: “I am delighted to have signed a new contract with the IRFU and Ulster. It is an exciting time for both the province and the national team and I hope to play a part in achieving success on both fronts in the years to come.”

Off the pitch, the Ulster man earlier this year got engaged to Lucy Whitehouse.

Part of Ireland’s 2009 Grand Slam winning team, one of Bowe’s commercial deals involves a Tommy Bowe shoe range for Buddha Brand Industry.

Bowe also fronts a Tommy Bowe clothing collection and recently launched a second range following up on a successful first collection.

The figures for the firm show that the money owed to creditors for more than one year reduced from £134,605 to £128,246. The value of the company’s stocks remained static at £222,750.

The abridged accounts — which don’t provide a revenue figure — show that the firm made investments in fixed assets during the year of £21,615.

Bowe has scored 140 points in 56 appearances for Ireland, making his debut in November 2004. He also has five caps with the Lions.
