The former chief executive of Bord Gáis, John Mullins, has invested in Irish home technology company Climote and joined the advisory board.

A former chief executive of UK energy utility Scottish & Southern Electric (SSE), Ian Marchant also invested in Climote and joined the advisory board.

Both investments were made in a personal capacity, although the amount of capital they put into the company was not disclosed.
