Kenmare suffers net losses three times greater than 2013

Dublin-headquartered mining company Kenmare Resources recorded net losses three times greater in the first six months of the year than they endured in the same period in 2013, according to the company’s half-yearly results.

Losses at the company amounted to $31.8m (€24.08) — up from $10.2m last year — for the first half of 2014, despite record production levels.

Kenmare’s revenues improved only marginally to $81.2m from $79.3m as lower prices offset increased production levels.
