Roche Ireland returns to profitability as turnover exceeds €100m-mark

The Irish arm of pharmaceutical giant, Roche had a reversal of fortunes last year as it returned to profit following a difficult 2012.

Roche Ireland reported a pre-tax profit of €11.4m in 2013; a swing of €21.9m from the previous year when the company posted a loss of more than €10m.

The return to profitability of the Swiss company’s Irish operations was aided by higher turnover of more than €100m.
