Siptu reaches 230 agreements on pay with firms

Siptu confirmed yesterday that it has reached over 230 pay agreements with Irish-based manufacturing firms over the last two years.

Siptu official, John McCarrick revealed the number when commenting on the Labour Court recommending that the Irish arm of engineering firm, John Crane award its Irish workforce a 4% pay award over two years.

SIPTU lodged a pay claim with the firm that couldn’t be resolved at the Labour Relations Commission (LRC) and it was referred to the Labour Court.
