Emirates to host recruitment drives in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Dublin to help fill 5,000 jobs

Due to the company's ever-expanding operations, Emirates are looking to fill 5,000 jobs globally for 2014.

Currently serving 143 destinations around the globe, Ireland appears to be an ever-popular destination for the organization's recruitment drives - a number of open days already took place earlier this year.

Emirates currently employs 440 Irish employees, 312 of which are cabin crew.

The recruitment drives take place ahead of a host of new route launches this August and September - destinations include Chicago, Oslo, Brussels and Budapest.

New routes to Taipei and Boston were launched earlier this year with the relatively new Dublin to Dubai route emerging as one of the airlines most successful.

The recruitment drives will take place in Galway on Aug 23 at the Harbour Hotel, in Cork on Aug 28 at the Clarion Hotel and in Dublin on Aug 30 at the Hilton. All events begin at 9am, with interested parties encouraged to bring a CV and photograph.

Emirates have also announced four additional recruitment drive dates for later this year:

Sep 16 - Waterford

Sep 21 - Dublin

Sep 25 - Dublin

Oct 30 - Limerick

Successful applicants will be based in Dubai.
