Nearly 200 jobs set to be created

More than 190 jobs are to be created in the coming months following two major announcements yesterday.

Some 140 positions are to be created nationwide by residential security firm, Homesecure while a further 55 jobs will be created by the expansion of fashion retailer Penneys, in Waterford.

A hundred of the Homesecure positions will be created within the next four months, with the majority based in sales and the remainder in installation and administration roles.
