Lidl and Aldi at 16.3% share
Latest data — from consumer insights agency, Kantar Worldpanel — shows they were the only players to grow annualised market share in Ireland over the 12-week period to June 22.
On a year-on-year basis, the discounters’ combined market share has jumped by almost 2%; while the share is up from 15.9% on the preceding 12 weeks.
