Business Woman of the Year named

Linda Kiely, co-founder and director of Cork-headquartered business process outsourcing company Voxpro, has been named as the Cork Business Woman of the Year 2014.

The announcement was made at the Disaronno Hi Women in Business Awards, at the Silver Springs Hotel on Saturday.

The inaugural awards honoured Munster-based businesswomen and celebrated all that is progressive for women in business in the region.

Ms Kiely co-founded Voxpro with her husband, Dan, 15 years ago and in that time, the company has grown to become Ireland’s largest exporter of business process outsourcing with international business now representing more than 80% of total turnover.

Voxpro, which has experienced significant growth in the last year, recently announced the creation of 350 new jobs which will see the business grow from 500 to 850 employees by the end of 2014.

Voxpro, whose international strategy focuses on securing global clients and becoming their growth partner in Europe, has a long-term plan to become one of the largest employers in Cork within the next two years and to expand its global workforce to 4,000 by 2018.
