BT Ireland sees revenues rise by 2%

The business, which in recent years has largely withdrawn from the consumer market and become a corporate sector provider, generated revenues of £661.6m (€804m) over the 12 months to the end of March; up 2% on the previous year when foreign exchange movements are excluded.

Although a 5% drop in profits was noted, this decline was attributed to once-off costs associated with the provision of new managed services contracts and restructuring costs.
