The greening of landmarks across the globe on St Patrick’s Day appears to be helping sales for the Athlone-based company which supplies shamrock for the White House and Irish troops abroad.

Living Shamrock sales manager Peter Martin says sales have been increasing since last year, possibly as a result of the raised profile of Ireland’s national day.
