Drogheda firm to double staff

A company that provides property and facility services, some in a heavily regulated industry, says growth in the sector means it expects to double its workforce of 30 within the next 18 months.

Outsource Support Services, whose offices are based in Drogheda, Co Louth, offers a range of services nationally that includes security, cleaning, pest control, building and ground maintenance, washroom and canteen services and vacant property inspection.

Company director Graham Hughes said: “On the whole, facility services are very heavily regulated, especially in security, chemicals and employment. By selecting a facility services company that can provide all the services required, a facility or property manager only has one supplier to audit and has all of their licenses, certifications and insurances managed by one provider.”

He said the sector is growing rapidly.

Recruitment will start later this year.
