Hi-tech start-ups locate HQs in Ireland

The trend of hi-tech start-ups locating their headquarters in Ireland shows no sign of slowing down with five North American and European high-growth companies moving here.

The five companies are to create 132 jobs in Dublin and Galway after they were brought to Ireland by the IDA Ireland’s Emerging Business Division which targets high-value jobs in IT, internet and digital media.

Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton said the plan was to get developing companies to put roots down early here.
