Voxpro ‘very proud’ to accept top honour

Voxpro founders Dan and Linda Kiely said they were “deeply honoured” to accept the award. Mr Kiely said the company owed its success to its staff.
“Voxpro has grown from humble beginnings to become an international brand that creates new business gateways into Europe for SMEs, multinationals and leading international blue-chip companies,” he said.
“We are very proud to accept this award from the Cork Chamber, which recognises the hard work and commitment of our highly skilled team, which numbers almost 500 people. Our business success is entirely due to the quality of our people and the excellence of our service to our customers in Ireland, Europe and the USA, 24 hours-a-day, 365 days a year,” he added.
Other winners included Dr Sinéad Doherty, founder and CEO of AnaBio Technologies, and CEO of Johnson & Perrott Mark Whitaker. AnaBio, founded two years ago, uses micro-capsules to deliver probiotics to target parts of the digestive tract.
“In such a short time, we have shown that our commitment and drive to develop successful and marketable products, has paid off,” said Dr Doherty.
“This award also recognises our success in securing a stream of multinational clients, to allow us to grow and develop the business on a global scale. I would also like to acknowledge the help we have received in Cork and nationally in Ireland,” she said.
The 200-year-old firm Johnson & Perrott won the best SME in Cork award following its pivot away from car sales and into fleet management.
Chamber president Gillian Keating paid tribute to the educational and commercial institutions operating in Cork and said that this potent combination was turning the region into one of Europe’s most entrepreneurial regions.
“Cork is alive with visionaries in many sectors and while we have in the past failed to empower these people sufficiently to allow them transform, disrupt and rebuild, that was the past and we are now enabling them. The Cork region is poised to become the entrepreneurial centre of Europe,” she said.
