Duffy and Hook notch up hefty balances

Salary cuts for one of RTÉ’s top earners, Joe Duffy, don’t appear to have hit his bank balance as his firm’s cash pile last year rose 11% to €168,320.

New figures lodged by Duffy’s media firm, Claddaghgreen Ltd with the Companies Office, show the company increased its accumulated profits by €10,836 from €124,415 to €135,254 in the 12 months to the end of Apr 30 last.

The figures show the firm’s cash pile rose from €151,845 to €168,320 during the period.
