The five-star hotel business operated by TV’s trouble-shooting hotelier brothers John and Francis Brennan, has “weathered the storm” to record two years of profits.

Newly filed accounts for Beechside Ltd — which operates the brothers’ Park Hotel in Kenmare, Co Kerry — show accumulated profits increased by €71,171 to €2.052m in the 12 months to the end of Dec 2012.

The firm’s cash during the year more than doubled from €203,093 to €512,922.
