Rubicon Centre celebrates nurturing 250 firms which created 2,500 jobs

In the last 15 years CIT’s Rubicon Centre in Cork Institute of Technology has nurtured 250 companies that have gone on to create more than 2,500 jobs.

Graduate companies from the Rubicon Centre have outperformed their international peers with 70% of them still trading. These companies have also attracted more than €100m in investment during this time — €750,000 alone was invested in the past month.

Manager of the Rubicon Centre Paul Healy said that, despite all of the economic turmoil over the past 15 years, the facility has fulfilled its brief, namely to support entrepreneurs.
