Pharmacy brand to employ 750 by 2018

A new retail pharmacy brand hopes to employ in the region of 750 people around the country within the next four years.

Yesterday saw the launch of the newest name to hit the Irish high street; Totalhealth Pharmacy — a network of 40 existing independently-owned chemists currently undergoing a €4m re-brand and overhaul.

The group plans to increase its store numbers — mainly via the signing up of more existing independents to its network — to over 160 by 2018, which in turn would see it increase its staff numbers from 250 to around 750 over the same timeframe.
