BAM Contractors reports a 47.5% hike in pre-tax profits to €5.9m

BAM Contractors — the country’s largest public works construction firm — has reported a 47.5% rise in annual profits.

The company, formerly known as Ascon, yesterday reported pre-tax profits of €5.9m for 2012; up from a profit of €4m in 2011.

Turnover was up by over 2.6% to €234m and the group’s profit margin rose from 1.75% to 2.5%, as of the end of last year.
