JP body donates €33m

Newly filed accounts for the JP McManus Charitable Foundation Limited, which has been in existence since 2000, show that it has donated €33m between 2007 and 2012. However, the figures show that the amount of money donated by the foundation last year totalled €2.38m — down 49% on the €4.7m distributed in 2011.

The foundation is largely funded from the 2010 JP McManus’s Invitational Pro-Am Charities fund and in 2012, the foundation held €25m on behalf of the JP McManus Pro-Am 2010 Committee.
