Market quiet in bank holiday trade

Stocks were quiet in the main yesterday in bank holiday trading, with the exception of the food sector which experienced some brisk trading.

Kerry Group stock fell 72c to €46.35, while Aryzta shed 43c to €45.83.

Industry heavyweight CRH added 16c to €16.61 while pharmaceutical company Elan gained 14c to €11.84m, as investors reposition following the recent decision of the company to sell.
