Profits soar at rugby star Sexton's company

Accumulated profits at the promotions firm owned by one of Ireland’s top rugby stars, Johnny Sexton, raced ahead last year to €225,188, new figures show.

Confirmation of the surge in profits at the Dubliner’s JAS Management and Promotions Ltd follows a summer to remember for the Ireland No 10.

The 28-year-old got married earlier this month to childhood sweetheart Laura Priestley. And earlier in the summer, Sexton played a pivotal role in the Lions defeat of Australia in the recent Test series.
