Carpoolers to gain from parking deal

Dragon’s Den star Sean O’Sullivan is to sweeten his carpooling company, Avego’s offer by partnering with Q-Park to give users a full day’s parking for €5 a day.

The new system will allow carpool users who use their smartphones to pay less for parking in an attempt to boost carpooling in busy city centre. Avego is being trialled between Cork and Kinsale and has already been used in thousands of journeys.

O’Sullivan, who is managing director at the firm, said that the offer is a win-win situation for all.
