Glenilen expects to generate €900,000 worth of annual sales of the new Yummy Yoghurts, targeted at children, and Fromage Frais Style, aimed at babies 6+ months. The firm’s present turnover is close to €4m.

Glenilen Farm co-owner Alan Kingston said: “We are committed to our belief in simplicity and natural food, and to producing great tasting quality products. The fact that we are completely transparent about our production and use ingredients which are 100% natural offers an important reassurance for parents and will greatly help the sales of our kids’ yoghurts.”
