Enterprise Ireland seeks new chief

Enterprise Ireland is beginning the search for a new chief executive after announcing yesterday that current chief Frank Ryan is to retire in November, after 10 years in the role.

The trade support agency has established a sub-committee to oversee the recruitment process.

In paying tribute to his service, Enterprise Ireland’s chairman Hugh Cooney said that Mr Ryan’s leadership, commitment and service had been “unrivalled” over the past 10 years.
