Hotels open their doors after revamps

Actons Hotel in Kinsale will reopen on Thursday after a seven month-long renovation and with the creation of 40 full-time jobs.

And yesterday, Parknasilla Resort & Spa in Sneem re-opened following its €11m acquisition late last year by Swiss-Lebanese billionaire Jacqui Safra.

According to Select Hotels, of which Actons is a member, 300 people were employed during the renovation works, the cost of which are not being disclosed.
