Macra manager to work on land mobility

Macra na Feirme has started the process of appointing a programme manager to promote land mobility countrywide.

The move follows the findings of a recent study which revealed that 48% of farmers over 50 years of age had not identified a farming successor.

Candidates for the job must have a recognised professional accountancy or legal qualification to degree level. An agricultural qualification would be an advantage.
