Computer software firm wins company of year award

VMware has been awarded the Cork Chamber Company of the Year at the chamber annual dinner held last night in Cork City Hall.

The Ballincollig-based cloud computing software company emerged as the overall company of the year as well as winning the large company of the year award.

Collecting the award on behalf of VMware, John Dolan, chief executive, said: “I’m delighted to receive this award from the Cork Chamber of Commerce on behalf of all my hard working colleagues in VMware.
