Market mixed amid flat trading

Markets across the eurozone were slightly weaker again today, mixed regional reporting figures coming from the U.S and negativity from the US Federal Reserve being the main catalyst.

Losses were pared back somewhat in the afternoon session with the ISEQ closing fractionally down 1.99 points on 3,546.33

Financial stocks were slightly ahead to flat, with Bank of Ireland the only non-mover at 14.3c. AIB were up 0.3c to 6.5c, while Permanent TSB Group finished slightly better off on 4.1c, up 0.1c. Irish Insurer FBD Holdings gave back most of Wednesday’s s gains finishing on €10.90 down 5c.
