Kenmare Resources revenue up 40% to €172m

Irish mining company Kenmare Resources says its revenues grew by 40%, last year, to $234.5m (€172m), with total production from its Moma Titanium mine in Mozambique topping 772,000 tonnes.

The production figure is in line with recent guidance, with the Dublin-based firm not expecting Moma to return to full production levels until the third quarter of this year.

The mine — which is the company’s headline asset — saw production levels dwindle last year due to a mixture of adverse weather conditions and clay build-ups. However, the second phase of the mine’s expansion is ongoing.
