ESB Telecoms Limited (ESBT) has completed a €10m optical fibre cable which directly links Irish businesses with major British cities for the first time.

The project was a partnership with Geo Networks Ltd, a leading British fibre network provider with both parties contributing €5m.

The new cable connects ESBT’s existing 1,300km fibre network in Ireland with Geo’s extensive British fibre network.
