Dropbox selects Dublin for HQ location

Global cloud computing company, Dropbox has selected Dublin as the location for its international headquarters, in something of a coup for the Government in its bid to make Ireland a European hub for the world’s leading digital companies.

The San Francisco- headquartered file-sharing specialist — which allows users to access and share documents and digital content with anyone around the world, from a range of devices — will establish a base in Dublin early in the new year.

It will be the company’s first office outside of California, where it employs more than 200 people.
