The firm said that growth — during the 12 months to the end of June — was largely down to its investment in “top talent” and significant client wins.

It saw an increase in all of its service lines — particularly transaction advisory services and advisory, which grew revenues by 29.1% and 14.4% respectively.

Ernst & Young has also added senior partners Frank O’Dea and Graham Reid to its management structure and is recruiting 30 new senior employees across the areas of advisory, assurance and business support services.

Ernst & Young Ireland’s managing partner Mike McKerr said: “I am optimistic that we can continue to shape and positively support the future direction of our clients’ growth, the way that our people work and the social and business issues that impact on the growth of the Irish economy.”

Regarding the two new senior partner additions, Mr McKerr said: “They bring unique expertise and specific sector experience, which will allow us to provide clients with the insight and advice they need to grow the business.”
