Two Cork firms make Deloitte top 10
The overall winner of the awards was Ezetop, which enables people living or working abroad to instantly top up mobile phones of friends and family.
Ezetop achieved growth of 6,986% over the last five years and its services are available from more than 350,000 retail stores in 16 countries.
Second place in this year’s ranking was taken by Cork-based Compliance and Risks.
The company provides online tools to help companies comply with regulatory regimes. Compliance and Risks recorded a growth rate of 2,886%.
The 2010 winner, Software Asset Management Ireland, a software and information technology supplier took third place with an average growth rate of 2,428%.
Another Cork-based company, Exigent Network was ranked sixth.
The average growth rate of the Fast 50 companies named in this year’s ranking is 556%.
Partner with Deloitte, Dublin, Richard Howard said Irish technology companies’ ability to tap into foreign markets had been key to growth.
