Building group sees revenues increase 6%

Building materials group Grafton is expecting its full-year operating profit to come in at the higher end of market expectations, after recording a near 6% year-on-year revenue increase for the first 10 months of the year.

The Dublin-headquartered group said yesterday — via its latest trading update — that overall revenue for the year to the end of October amounted to €1.83bn, compared to €1.73bn for the same period last year.

This growth was, unsurprisingly, driven by its British-based operations, which now contribute 76% of group revenue.
