Pre-tax profits at RPS fall 24%

Pre-tax profits at the environmental group retained by Shell Ireland to work on the Corrib Gas project last year decreased by 24% to €2m.

Revenues at RPS Group and subsidiaries fell 16% from €72.3m to €60.7m in the 12 months to the end of Dec 2011, accounts lodged with the Companies Registration Office show.

The numbers employed by the group last year declined by a further 106 after job numbers dropped by 181 in 2010.
