6% growth in professional jobs in Q3

There has been a 6% increase in the number of professional jobs available in the third quarter of this year compared with the same period last year, according to the Morgan McKinley Irish Employment Monitor.

In Q3 last year, there were 23,167; the figure jumped to 24,631 this year. However, this figure was down 2% on the 25,112 jobs that were available in Q2.

Chief operations officer with Morgan McKinley, Karen O’Flaherty, said that, analysing the figures, it appears the jobs market is improving.
