‘Smart Cow’ firm hopes to milk market

An Irish mobile technology company is hoping to help save manufacturing and life sciences industries a packet as well as create jobs with its range of “smart Cows”, or computers on wheels.

VisionID, based in Tipperary, is one of the country’s main suppliers of mobile computing, barcode and data capture solutions.

The tech firm has moved on to greener pastures with a new range of “smart Cow” mobile computers which are turning heads in industry.
